There is always Proton Drive too. I think OP wants "retail" cloud storage, not cloud backup. I use Backblaze to back up my NAS, but nothing else.
OP, you can also start with a 2 bay NAS to build a personal cloud. Most of the Synology apps I use for my NAS work well, but I'm still going to have to use Outlook to get email anyway (I always use MFA if it's available, which can create issues.) You can back it up to Backblaze for pennies per GB in case your house catches fire, if that's what you're looking for.
