If we want to compete next year, we need at least one DT of his caliber.

Given how poorly the Denver Harris experiment went, I’m not sure if he should be a take or not.

Didn’t like to practice hard under Kirby

Maybe we take him as a talent bet but he hasn’t really shown to be a culture fit so far in his college career

There would have to be a lot of phone calls to past coaches before I’d commit a scholarship. This is his third college stop (Georgia, USC previously) and it’s being reported that he had multiple stops in HS as well. He’s leaving two premier programs and USC is coming off a horrendous season on the defensive side of the football. Something doesn’t add up.

We need a guy for one year. That’s all.

How did he play last year?
Was he a locker room problem?

Those are questions to ask.

Tbh lsu can't really afford to pass on a DT....you get him in for a visit and evaluate him and talk to him and go from there

USC fans late last night on X said he will be returning. If it's true they must have upped the bag to keep him.

Start with a phone conversation to see if there's mutual interest.

If so, then comes the uncomfortable conversation where BK and staff asks questions and sets expectations. At whatever point an understanding can't be reached, you cut ties. If the kid shows some accountability, he may be worth the 1 year rental.

Na. That's like hiring the guy who changes jobs every 2 years. There is always going to be something they aren't happy about.
