That video of last game showed the lack of respect House had from the players.
However, little disappointed in Kelly waiting so long to make changes. I get the feeling several Defensive line players would have stuck around for another year if they knew a new coaching staff was coming in. Several recruits would have been all over this new coaching staff.
It was clear players had no respect for House and therefore did not trust his calls.

While I agree I think if you look back on Kelly's start, he needed to acquire a staff quick.
He brought in Denbrock because he had history with him. Not even sure Kelly wanted him for the long haul, but needed a guy who would be on the same page as they took on the rebuild.
Defense was different. Kelly wanted Freeman - who said yes before ND offered him the HC job. So then Kelly had to find someone quick. No clue how he landed on House but I doubt it was Kelly's dream scenario.
Now he's got an actual elite staff around him and I personally believe the sky is the limit.

I thought this too but the fact that we got Mckinley and Reliford to flip, I think they might've been told what was in the works. Which would make me think Wingo and Smith knew too. They were probably just ready to get paid.
