Purdue has taken 1 three pointer the entire game. Their head coach is an absolute dumbfrick for coming up with the game plan to rely heavily on Edey as the main scorer.

They’ve made 1 three pointer, they’ve taken four. A lot of that has to do with the perimeter defense of UCONN.

That’s because UConn’s defense has been great. It’s not that Purdue doesn’t want to shoot 3’s. They are as good as anyone in doing so. It’s that they can’t. There’s no space. UConn is fine with Edey going one on one and scoring 20+ as long as no one else gets involved.
