Watched it in Plano with my wife and two kids, one of whom I'm sure is old enough to remember it for the rest of his life.

It was partly cloudy, but I think it worked out just as well as a clear sky because the clouds were juuust thick enough to let us watch most of those final few minutes entering totality unaided, soaking it in with the surrounding area. Plus it made for some really dramatic photos.

Also found out later that my doorbell cam recorded the moments of totality. That was kinda funny.
