Perhaps the SKC has some dark demons. We do better on the road.

New Orleans Pelicans arena 'not keeping pace' with other NBA arenas

Was it built on top of a graveyard like the Dome? Frick it and build a new arena with your own money Gayle! I know that is wishful thinking. Just happy for a win.

Wasn't their talk last year about a new arena? But by the old PowerPlant or city hall

The state will have to contribute significant funds for any new arena.
Like the Superdome.

I'm pretty sure people that look like me were hung on plenty of different stadiums land.

Book a couple of Taylor Swift concerts and your new arena will be paid for.

No, the Cemeterie des Heretiques was where Macy's is now.

I'm not sure about the bad Ju-Ju but Pels, for sure play differently on the road, and it starts with a defensive mindset. Pels get home and seem to want to showcase and forget what type of team they really are.

Arguments can be made that any grand vision for this season were compromised at the trade deadline so, at this point, you have to lean into what you have, likely more Dyson at the 4-5. A lot of optimism on the road trip centered on Zion's defensive elevation, which along with Herb and Dyson's disruption triggered everything. Granted, none of those teams had a dynamic point-center combo (Pels kryptonite), but the defensive pressure led to forced turnovers, more transition basketball, and better spacing. That was very clear. Defense, for sure travels but Pels continue to forget to pack it on their return home flights.
