lol. This is funny and sad at the same time. So ole Jeff was in the building just a week earlier and didn’t say a word about the team not being on the floor during the anthem. Most likely because he didn’t even notice.

Forcing people to do anything will only give you the opposite result. The kneeling during the anthem is all but dead but idiot like this will only cause it to become a thing again.

He NEVER did this.

Quit buying into the Liberal spin. Do not forget where this started. Some dipshit with an axe to grind with Reese & Co attempted to fabricate a story -

Landry took one news source as gospel and ran with it. As a politician he should have known better. Now all we see is him doubling down on stupid

Nobody in BR even gives a shite about people paying up to 5x in homeowners insurance than they did pre-Ida.

Landry is such a lightweight loser. Voters in any competent state would have laughed him out of politics years ago.
Luzianner is not one of those "Competent" States.

I lived in Louisiana for the majority of my life, but can speak from the experience of having lived elsewhere. (Houston-Pensacola-New Smyrna Beach) that it's an arse backwards hole of shite.

I miss the food and being close to LSU. That's it, but those certainly aren't critical "Quality of Life" issues.

BTW, Landry is one of those Southwest Louisiana Junior College Ramblin Acadian bottom feeders and the people that elected Kathleen Blanco, Bobby Jindal and John Bel Edwards put him in Office.

For calling out ONLY the LSU WBB team with that first tweet after some idiot tweeted it to start.

He did exactly that without doing a second of research and what’s more embarrassing his sorry arse was in the building the week before and said absolutely nothing. That dumbass ran his mouth because he was trying to posture his backwoods swamp rat USL agenda.
What the hell did he think? He didn’t and he owes her an apology for being the dumbass he is.

LSU Football has been this way since before I was a student moron.

LSU is HONORING THAT COUNTRY YOU DUMBASS by playing the Anthem every sporting event.

How the hell does he know what the players are doing in the locker room during that time? HE DOES NOT. HOW DOES HE KNOW THEY AREN’T HONORING THE COUNTRY? HE DOES NOT.

quote:

He NEVER did this.
assuming he said they were disrespectful- HE ABSOLUTELY DID BY SAYING WHAT HE SAID AND SENDING THAT FREAKING DUMBASS MESSAGE. He softened the message by sending that dumbass letter to all the boards eh en crawfished his dumbass because he knew he fricked up.

I can assure you NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS LIBERAL. I’ve been a staunch Republican for the better part of 50 years and this you’re a MORON if you want to spin this. You’re no different than that dumbass Liberal media trying to blame someone else for their fricking lot in life when you know you’ve fricked up.

Have a downvote and a nice day a-hole.

He’s playing a dumb game. With all the problems in LA he’s setting himself up to be blown up. Imagine a scenario where Mulkey came back and asked if he could focus on lowering insurance rates in LA and leave the bball to her. His approval would tumble.

Well, the teams are on the court for the Anthem right now and they were on the court for the final four as well. Maybe the broadcasts changed the timing of it.

I am 50 miles off the “coast” yet classified as a “coastal property”. Oddly, propety in Jefferson 30 miles closer to the coast and a few blocks from the Lake has coverage at 1/2 the costs.

Landry himself must not have been in area or he would have noticed that LSU wasn’t there for national athemn.

Hummm. Looks like Mr Landry must not “Share our American values”. I guess he was protesting too?!?!?

Get your facts straight. Landry wrote the letter . It says….

“By choosing to miss the National Anthem, the basketball team showed a lack of respect not only for the values of our country, but for the individuals who hold these values dear in our State and across the country,”

That’s a lie.

Its good to see The Advocate finally take some sort of stance after all of the articles and crap that has been written by others about Mulkey. Its interesting that it took the governor's unenforcable right-wing stance on the national anthem for The Advocate to finally do so.
