She was overhyped. She’s essentially the same player that Louisville had. Her 2pt % declined as she shot 46% for 3 years in a row, while she shot 40% at LSU, but she shot better from 3 point range at 34% than at her last season at Louisville in which she only shot 29% from 3. Also her Assist to turnover rate every year at Louisville was about 1-1, while it improved to about 1.5-1 at LSU. Her BPM dropped a little from the 8 range to 7, but that’s still good. HVL had the worst BPM of any starter, but still better than anyone else on the team. Mikaylah Williams only had a 9 BPM, but we cut her more slack because she was a freshmen. HVL also had a 8.8 BPM as a freshman, but that was her best ever. We just expected too much from HVL. She would help us if she came off the bench, so it is definitely not good to lose her, but we need to get better at the point. I wish her well, though I wish she had stayed.

Well true, but no way in hell she’s staying at LSU to come off the bench.

This kinda pisses me off. The obvious conclusion is this just wasn’t a good fit, so let’s move on. Then this fricker of a trainer tries to do damage control by shitting on LSU and Mulkey. If HVL approved this message, I’ve lost some respect for her.
