I was excited when we signed Guidry and got him to campus based on his lofty ranking. I never saw him in high school. He ended up being a lot smaller than I thought he’d be. He’s firey but has Milazzo power in his limited at bats and he likely hasn’t been practiced at shortstop. He’ll never be an every day starter at LSU unfortunately.

More importantly how is his defense? Braswell is a joke and I’m just not sure Kucherak is ready.

But he has. He spent the entire fall not throwing a single pitch and working as an infielder, which includes SS. He was behind everyone at SS and 2B. He's not going to be an everyday infielder at LSU.
