What pitchers would you throw in game 2 then? I haven’t seen any midweek guys or game 3 guys that would do any better than what Jay threw game
LSU needs to be able to win game 1 with Holman and somebody else besides Herring.
If they can do that I could see them winning game 2 with Jump/Herring.
Game 3 they are pretty much F’d at the moment.

I also see Guidry didn't pitch this weekend. I don't know if he's hurt or what.
My biggest point re game 2- you play that game as an elimination every series. If you get a lead (especially middle innings), you then go with your entire bullpen, minus the guys you burned in game 1. No "oh, let's hold this guy for tomorrow so he can start", none of that.
You don't leave a guy in there to see if he can work through a jam, with nobody in the bullpen.
Again, we're getting crushed in game 3 anyway. But we've had a couple game 2's in our grasp, and just rolled with the guy in relief too long.
