Being called a prick or an a-hole is a compliment to me these days.
It is a legit UX bug.
Look buddy. I made a joke post the other day where part of the punchline was an emoji. When it showed up as ?? I looked like a damn fool in front of everyone!
Let's see if they fixed it

It's not a bug, and hence they're not going to "fix" anything because these character-encoding systems weren't meant to work together.
However, as a workaround you can find whatever emoji you want to use on that site (or anywhere) and copy the image link — not the emoji itself — then force the size to make it look like one.
Here's an example using your fire emoticon...
On that website you referenced, scroll down to the version you prefer, then, since it looks like you're on desktop, right-click the image and select Copy image address or similar depending on your browser.
Then come back here and paste it in your message using img markup as you would with a regular image, adding a "width=xx" suffix.
Like this:
Previewing it results in this:
Some are even animated GIFs:
You may have to experiment with different width sizes depending on the image.
And as TrueTiger stated, these still may look like shite to someone else depending on their OS, individual user settings, screen resolution, the original image transparencies, etc.
