Playing through the game again for the first time since 2016. I love the series and 4 is alright but I can see why I put this down a few times and didn’t pick it up for weeks at a time before I finished all the quests I wanted to and the main game. The characters and dialogue options are just so “meh” to me. A lot of illusion of choice. Boston just doesn’t do it for me like the Mohave wasteland did. It’s better than DC though I’ll give it that.

It’s frustrating when trying to clear out raiders and there are always a couple that will hide.

The open world is probably one of the most densely packed and detail oriented that Bethesda has ever done.

The main story questline is also pretty solid for a Bethesda RPG.

The above as well as the improvements to the gunplay make Fallout 4 superior to Fallout 3, but I agree New Vegas is better than both of them overall.
