Thompson led the league in errors last 2 years. No way LSU should have another ss lead the league a 3rd yr in a row.
ETA Thompson tied for most errors in 21. So that’s 3 yrs for him. He was consistent. I’ll give him that

Honestly, that was the perfect moment to do it. We should have been off the field there. We continue to not help out our pitchers. Hollman's line is not deserving of how well he pitched last night. And that mainly lies at Braswell's feet.
The routine fly ball turned HR is going to happen but an error with 2 outs extending the inning and then another few runs score is not the fault of the pitcher.

Guidry battled the Mendoza line in two consecutive fall baseball sessions and two preseasons, often losing to same. The bat has not yet translated to college ball and he was given ample opportunity to win a starting middle infield position two years in a row and has not; especially this past off-season.

I think Guidry would be a much better leader too. He’s naturally more of a bulldog than Braswell.
This team needs that in the worst way.

He’s definitely struggling, but it’s not as bad as it’s made out to be.
The type of errors are completely different. JT errors were generally because he was trying to play too fast.
Braswell‘s errors are basic 10U AA fielding errors.
