I consider myself firmly on the right wing side of most issues. But I could not give a single frick about the anthem being played at sporting events or if the team is or isn’t present when it’s played.

Like not being present for the national anthem is not an attack. Girls soccer kneels openly. Are we in LA America haters or are we a proud southern state with values??? I was present at girls soccer record setting crowd. They kneeled the entire fan base booed and left. Cut the shite and the political agenda and play sports.

The fact that people are legitimately thinking that being present or not for the NA had any outcome on the game is almost impossible to comprehend.
Regardless of your opinion on the anthem issue, it had jack shite to do with to game’s outcome.

What we are noticing is the hypocrisy of calling out one team in one sport while ignoring the common practice of not being present for the anthem. It has been pointed out several times that many teams do it. The LSU football team does it. So do the service academies. If you want to criticize then be consistent.

Are you actually going to call Landry a Democrat. Really, that is how F-up this state is when people who vote for a Republican Governor (and I did not vote for anyone in the last election) call him a Liberal when he does stupid shi...
Landry has always been for Landy. Anybody paying attention new he used the AG as his personal office to run for Governor, in fact I would say he politicized the LA AG office. I don't like when Liberal Dems do it and call it out when they do it and I called it out when Landry did it.
That is why with respect to the GOP and and DEMS, the only difference is walking threw a field and stepping on 1 pile of Cow Sh....t= GOP with the current DEMS is stepping in 2 piles of Cow Sh.....t.
Which is why I am registered as an Independent. Neither one of them are worth a Bleep.
The last decent Governor this state had was Mike Foster.
Blanco (God BLess her she has passed), 0, Jindal 0, JBE 0 and Landry already in a short time is proving to be a 00.

I wish I could give you more up votes. I dont ever see myself kneeling during the anthem but I served so people could have their freedom of speech. I dont have to like it. But it’s their right to be in the locker room during the anthem. And the assumption that they are in the locker room because they don’t want to stand is asinine.

As a conservative, I am so incredibly disappointed in Jeff Landry. He is either trying to hurt the LSU brand or score points with low-information voters outside Louisiana—or both.
It is all terrible.
