look man, I get it. You're a feminist.
I really don't care to go back and forth with you on this.
The overarching point is that "around this point of End Game" is when Disney/Marvel showed us their hand and where they were going.
Basically, since End Game, Marvel has been on a decline. Yes, they dad 1-3 movies sprinkled in that were good or did well. but a MAJORITY since end game have done horrible.
Have a good one.

Yeah I lost faith that Marvel couldn't repeat that thing they did that no one else had ever done, or has been able to do again since.
I mean seriously, how hard is it to manage a multi-decade, multiple dozen movie shared cinematic universe that has a satisfying ending and nearly ever movie is a hit?
DC clearly had no issues whatsoever. And remember Universal's Monsters Shared Universe? Plus Matel is about to launch their toy cinematic universe. So pathetic that Marvel couldn't be bothered to just repeat Avengers Endgame.
*Edit*
Obviously over the top here, but seriously, how much are we supposed to hold it against Marvel that their films have been less-than in compared to what came before. They are still rolling way better than DC and how many other franchises are pumping out this much content without a dropoff?
The revisionist history with Marvel is laughable at times with this board. Comics have always been "woke". Major comic companies couldn't hiring top talent so they often had to settle for those others didn't want to hire (i.e. so many early writers and artist being Jewish). Just because they aren't overly left leaning now doesn't mean that wasn't how they were when they were published.

I’m not a feminist. i just remember what happens in movies.
And I am going to agree with you that they’ve made a concerted effort to get more women into significant roles in the MCU. thats apparent.
But the whole “oh Ms Marvel soloed Thanos” as evidence that they’re doing it in a ridiculous way isn’t real.
And we can talk about how the MCU just lost Iron Man, Steve Rogers and Black Panther for off screen reasons (actors no longer wanting to do the roll / the unfortunate passing of Chadwick Boseman)

that "girl power" scene was the sign of what was to come.
It confirmed the direction they wanted to go. It got the ball rolling.
Haven't made much money since in the land of Marvel (minus the few).

did I miss the part where Captain Marvel defeats Thanos?
You know Thanos was kicking the shite out of Thor, Ironman, and Captain american with no infinity stones right? Look at the scene above, he couldn;t beat captain marvel and needed the infinity stone 1 on 1.

I actually don't have a problem with the Captain Marvel scene. But this is true.
She is incredibly powerful.
But Thor is moreso regardless.

Which is?
Since Endgame the only movies with main woman leads were Black Widow and the Marvels
Obviously not counting Guardians or Thor because those all main leads were men

The problem is there really isn’t much direction which is in part of having no central team to build around. In the first three phases you had a bunch of movies centered around the Avengers and leading to Thanos
Here you have a bunch of stories with no real connection aside from the multiverse which has been moving at a snails pace. Not to mention over saturation of shows and movies. The only shows that probably needed to be kept were Loki and WandaVision while the Eternals and Shang Chi kind of feel out of place. Even in the solo movies the overall plot of the IW phase was moved forward. Right now it’s just random shite happening
Not some evil wokeism or whatever stupid shite I’m sure you’ve pulled out of your arse or whoever you listen to

I think Marvel's just out of gas, as much as anything else.
They got a fantastic run from Robert Downey Jr, and the Chris's were all very good too. It's hard to keep hitting with the leads like that.
Cumberbatch is good, but not quite as good as them; but he's the best they have left. And Dr Strange is not the guy you want to tie things together with (although they've actually tried to). The rest, meh. Before you say Tom Holland as Spiderman, he's cool, but this isn't exactly the Spiderman I grew up with. He has all sorts of Ironman gadgets going on in the films.
And for those saying FF and XMen will save them, I'm not holding my breath. I don't really need a reboot of XMen right now, and the past couple FF have been bad. I don't know if Pedro Pascal is the right guy to build things around.

They have wrung every ounce of interesting story out of the X-Men franchise and tried numerous gimmicks (although Logan worked) and now think they are going to replace beloved characters/actors and make a lot of money???? FF just doesn't work on the big screen and this will be the third failure in a row.

At some point I'll probably watch them on cable but the Guardians and Thor are the only ones I'm really interested in.

I disagree. Disney Marvel are doing this on purpose. Why? They genuinely believe that they can force feed The Message to the public & eventually we’ll come around. Same with Star Wars, same with Dr. Who, Terminator , Rings of Power & even the *gaming industry (Stellar Blade, Harry Potter) … they’re infesting known IP for the sake of grifting while trying to alter the culture.
This has been made abundantly clear with the fantastic success of movies like a Godzilla -1, and Sisu. Low budget films which garnered great success.
* You can add Helldivers 2 to that list of successful games. On the flipside, there is Laura Croft, and The last of us part 2.
The very real culture war extends well beyond TVs and movies.
*DV - why? The studios have said this stuff outright. You can’t be serious & not see what’s happening.

Have you been keeping up with the Disney stock? I have!
On 4/16/2019, Disney stock was $129.90. At this very moment, it is sitting at $113.89. Maybe it'll grow to $130 by the end of the day. No reason to believe otherwise!
Definitely a healthy company you should be investing in. I hope you sold your house and went all in. Only a stupid stockholder would believe there need to be changes at the top of this company.
Right?

Or you can wait until a reputable site reports that. That "scooper" is wrong all the time

RPK is a pretty good leaker although he’s usually at his best on marketing like trailer dates than actual plot details so guess we’ll seee
