Me: Watched and enjoyed Phases 1-3 of the MCU.

Also me: Everything AFTER End Game has been a disaster. From the movies to the trash series on D+. The moment Disney Marvel declared that, going forward, there'd be 50/50 female superheroes, if not more, that's when the story telling died and we got nothing but DEI nonsense.

This means I've been invested in the MCU from 2008 - 2021 (minus Captain Marvel) 23 movies.

The ONE movie (Spiderman-No Way Home) that's part of Phase 4 is actually a Sony distributed movie, not Disney. After that, I've seen NOTHING of the MCU.

But sure,13 years of watching 23 movies, I don't know what I'm talking about regarding this franchise.

Get bent, you witless shill.

agree with you. After endgame there may have been 1-2 good shows.

They basically gave their fan base the middle finger with the woke/gender swapping stuff.

Sad. So much potential.

The second I realized everything was going to go downhill with Marvel....this scene in End Game....

This was our sign

That scene was so cringe. It's like that little girl who decides to put curtains up on a fort built by a group of boys and then decides to start make believe cooking while the boys are make believe pirates.

Let's take a close look at this photo. Left to Right.

We have an Executive Assistant then CEO in Pepper. She didn't make her suit. A man (Tony) did. On screen, she's shown zero fighting skills.

Wanda - Got her powers after being experimented on with a staff powered by an Infinity Stone.

Carol - Got HER powers from getting splashed with some blue goo after an engine powered by another infinity stone blew up.

Mantis - A mind reader. Not a warrior.

Shuri - A teenage girl genius who effectively is a young Tony Stark, but who has never had any military training. She's basically Iron Heart but isn't.

Natasha Romanoff (not pictured) - A trained spy and assassin. NOT a infantry fighter.

Of that entire group, ONE woman, Carol Danvers, has had any level of military experience. As a jet fighter. She's not flying a jet though.

At most, 3 women even belong on a battle field. Shuri, with her blaster gauntlets, would be the one possible addition.

*ETA - Yes, I forgot Valkyrie. As an Asgardian, a bonafide warrior. Legendary status, but who dipped out for how many thousands of years? Before Thor was even born.

My biggest takeaway from this is people regret telling the underrepresented groups that if they want representation they should get jobs in the industry. Because they did and now they can influence the media you consume.

"Super-powered, but no infantry experience" is one of the cherry-picked, retardedest arguments that has ever been applied to a work of fiction I've ever seen.
Bless your simple brain, Mr. Fuentes. I hope you can one day touch a woman's boob. They're great.

yeah, I don't agree with that statement.

But that scene was complete BS. Marvel has fallen. Wokeness took over.

A lot of horrible story telling.

GOTG 3, Black Widow, and Shang Chi all have audience scores over 90% on RottenTomatoes. Both seasons of Loki have been elite television. WandaVision, Hawkeye, and Moon Knight were all good and well received. The rest of the movie and shows have been anywhere from average to shite.

Like I said, you have no idea what you are talking about and believe your ignorant opinion is that of the rest of society. I don’t like woke shite either, but you see the Disney logo and immediately act like people with TDS.

You are what you claim to hate.

What’s funny is Zoe Saldana - who is the 2010s version of Sigourney Weaver - begged them not to do that scene and it still happened.

I'll cede GOTG3, but still haven't seen it yet. Not everything bad is woke, but everything woke sucks. And FFS, the way they swapped Taskmaster was comically (unintentional pun) lame. Totally unnecessary. Same as with Silver Surfer.

Saying I "am what I claim to hate", that's just demonstrably false. 23 movies & 13 years is proof. Samuel L. Jackson & Idris Elba are epic choices. If anyone made a fuss about their characters being swapped, it was a mild observation, at most.

It wasn't the fans who turned heel and then dumped on these movies.

That was Disney Marvel.

Except I didn't exactly say any of that, now did I?

From The Avengers -

"This is Loki. This is monsters and magic, and nothing we were ever trained for...

You're a spy, not a soldier"
- Clint Barton. Speaking to Natasha.

And yet, there she is, on the field of battle. With all the other girl bosses.

Where was Everett Ross? Why didn't he suit up and join the gang? Would make about as much sense.

I liked it a lot, but I’m sure it could be picked apart if someone wanted to pick it apart.

Nope... It wasn't that. THIS was the sign:

Three of the strongest men could do jack shite to Thanos but faced with the power of pussy, even Thanos is powerless.

Yeah no shite and we are just ignoring that Stormbreaker Thor almost killed him and then ultimately did kill him.

Yes, you did, you disingenuous asshat. You’re debating on the head of a pin in bad faith.

For that scene to pierce your veil of disbelief shows how sensitive of a guy you are. Sorry about your feelings. Cope harder, queef.

Don’t put things in quotes which weren’t said.

You’re the one dealing in bad faith. FFS.

And to dunk on your point even worse, I gave a citation to what I was saying. They literally say it in the movies. (See above)

* and to follow up, I had to do a bit back checking on your little Nick Fuentes snark. That may mean something to you, but it’s laughably lost with me.

Whatever that boogeyman represents to you is irrelevant in this discussion.
