While Olsen has a discount brand of Caitlyn Clark's game (3pt-ers, vision/passing, driving, mid-range), and we could understand the offensive fit with Iowa/Bluder, that roster is greatly depleted.

Hopefully, she sees that Flau'jae, Mikaylah & Aneesah would provide a better supporting cast.

As of now , the roster stands at 8.
I’d assume they’d like to add 3 or 4 through the portal. So far only two visits scheduled

I could see Olsen going a lot of places, but Iowa will struggle to to get much above .500 in Big 10 next season. As others have said they lost a ton and Bluder without CC has only made it past sweet 16 one time in 25 years at Iowa...oh, and Bluder has NEVER won the Big 10 outright, not once. enough said

Olsen: Iowa, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Tenn, Standford, and West VA are programs recruiting Olsen the hardest out of the transfer portal. She was a 3-star recruit coming out of high school and unranked.

with or without her (u2?) LSU is by far the most likely to consistently contend for a NC. WVU is 2nd tier, TN has a new coach, Maryland has a great coach who has lost her edge, Iowa- see my comments above and Michigan is solid but not NC contender by any stretch. I would be much more worried if SC, UCLA, Texas, UCONN etc were on the list. She is from PA so maybe that helps Maryland and WVU as far as being closer to her family.

coach bob is following lucy and deja on instagram. meanwhile, kiki iriafen is following gary and kaylin. things that make you say hmmmm....

still think janiah barker would be a solid add.

i think we will hear something soon now that the wnba draft is over.

I don’t think Janiah is considering lsu, at least from what I heard.

And Kiki has been following those assistants for years, Kim actually recruited Kiki out of hs and was in her top 5. It remains to be seen if she wants to leave the west coast.

GVS committed to Michigan st because she wanted to be back closer to home

jeez when will we get some good news lol, I thought Barker was a shoe-in to be coming

I don’t see Kiki coming to LSU. Even though she does have a previous relationship with Mulkey when she was still at Baylor, I have a feeling she will be staying in California where she’s originally from and going to UCLA, which she almost committed to originally.

A name who would be a big fit would be Day-Wilson from Miami (former ACC freshmen of the year at Duke). She just hit the portal, PG who is an excellent defender and shoots 37% from 3.

LSU staff member just followed her today

i watched janiah's post game interview after their last loss to lsu, and i wouldn't think she'd look at baton rouge...but things change...and she has a lot of personal connections to the players. i just think that would be super solid get for us.

and i understand kiki following kaylin because of baylor recruiting, but gary wasn't anywhere near kim's staff at that point, so just an interesting connection...maybe nothing to it...

Good info. Seems like every girl I look up averages 3 assists a game.

Princeton’s Kaitlyn Chen apparently still uncommitted but all the talk has her leaning to UConn.

UConn fans are bitching about that on their forums: “we don’t need another guard, we need a quality big!”

I don’t know if we’ve made a play for her but we really need to fill that third backcourt slot with a proven PG, not another shooting guard we are trying to convert. Chen would fit the bill.

if academics matter, i don't think chen will look hard at lsu. she may want something comparable to princeton. from what i've read, she is looking at uconn (sorry to the uconn fans that don't want her.), stanford and ucla. she's from california, so that may be why stanford and ucla top her list.

If Chen really does prefer Stanford and UCLA, it'll be strange to move all the way to Cali, only to travel back to the east coast almost every game.
