I remember kids I knew in school that both parents worked two jobs to make a decent life for them.

Never hear about that kind of stuff today.

100% complete opposite. Back in the day only a dad needed to work 1 job and mom stayed at home. It's today that both sexes work and sometimes multiple jobs, but I know those over 50 years older as they descend into end of life can't help but have the view "Eherhrrrr backkk in muhhrr dehr everyone was working for $2 an hour including me and my brother while we were still in the womb"

Came across a funny article that the elder have had the exact same sentiment Since 100 B.C. by documented writings. Funny how the older generation always thinks things are going to shite since B.C. but the world is infinitely better today than 100 B.C.

I will never become the 50 year old that thinks his early time was the best time and every future generation is worse than ones before. What that really is, is ego and fear of growing old and getting closer to death, wanting to hold on to youth. That's the psychology behind it.

This has been happening since before Christ link
