She'll be back. NCAA WBB gets 10x the eyeballs that the WNBA gets. The earning potential is just greater here at LSU.

Are you under the impression that she is famous for her gymnastics abilities? I’ve yet to see her perform a single handstand or tumble.

I've seen this answer thrown around a lot as to why they probably won't stay another year, but I couldn't disagree more. First, chances are neither of then actually make a WNBA roster, even if they do get drafted. Look at Morris and Williams from last year. Their collective WNBA careers lasted about 2 weeks total before both got cut.
And the only reason they have these NIL/endorsement deals is because they are in the national spotlight. If they are no longer in the spotlight, as is likely to happen if they don't make an active WNBA roster, then their spotlight goes away and so does their selling power for these sponsors.
I think within 2 years time from leaving college, they will both fade into obscurity and their big money deals will go away too.

No. Reece will not make as much $$ if she goes to the WNBA. If she can stay at LSU one more year she probably should just from a financial position. It is her position as an LSU player that has made her an "influencer" . I believe that position wanes some if she goes the WNBA route especially if she is not as successful at that level. Can't shoot a mid range jump shot.

More eyes are on the college game right now. The superstars this year going to the draft will dictate if that translates to the WNBA. I expect a boost from people tuning into to see CC, but will it sustain?
Reese has way more to lose if she goes to the draft this year. Her name alone isn’t gonna give her a spot on a roster and she has a lot to work on. Without the media tour/attention like last summer, she can really focus on improving her game and enter into a less loaded draft next year.

Bartlett wasn’t a Nikki recruit, she signed with Syracuse in HS, the coach at SU got dismissed. Kim signed her LINK /

I love to see rhis argument. Unless you have seen the contracts, you don't know. It is entirely possible that the NIL deals have a clause allowing the business to option gear to year. So you think Gordon is going to pay for an endorsement deal with a player who might not make the roster of the team drafting them, which could be in any city, but not in Louisiana....
