You do know that Clay Higgins was a used car sales manager before he was let go for misallocation of funds. He was then an Opelousas PD officer who was also encouraged to resign for repeatedly stepping over the line before landing a spot with the StLandry Sherriff's office as a public info officer.

Being a member of Congress (politician) is the only way Higgins would have ever sniffed the kind of income he’s making today.
Not much different than AOC or Shelia Jackson in that aspect.
But hey, good for him. He figured out a way and found a faithful following.
