lets try this out. obviously this will be most helpful between those who are geographically close to each other. post a list of plants you have that are easily divided/propagated/transplanted that you'd like to share AND post about what you'd like to find.
a quick tip...for most divided or transplanted plants, it's best to dig and pot and let them get past transplant shock before re-planting elsewhere, especially if it will be some time before they find their new homes. so be a good trader and spread healthy plants with a good chance of success.
here's what i have:
1) loquat (japanese plum). i have dozens of these small trees that sprouted from the fruit of a large loquat, which sadly died. they are easily pulled and potted. fantastic landscape tree with delicious fruit.
2) lemongrass. i can just yank and plant. it will grow anywhere there's sun
3) tall goldenrod. often dismissed as a "weed" it is actually a vital native plant for pollinators and is quite beautiful.
4) purple lantana. grows into a bush-like plant and then dies back each frost.
5) variegated vinca (periwinkle). well behaved vining/trailing growth that will thrive in sun and shade. easily spreads but just as easily controlled. purple flowers in spring
6) maypop (passionflower). climbing vine with incredible flowers that makes an edible fruit. dies back every year but will take over if you let the fruit drop
let's see what others have to share, and plant some free plants

I’d love a few loquats, but all I have to offer is a few 3 gallon nuttall and sawtooth culls.

Will a loquat grown from seed flower and fruit or is loquat usually a grated tree?

I can use some purple Liriope in Lafayette. Will dig it and replace the dirt.
