Yeah, the water portion was $18. The whole thing is usually around $85 for all 3. We don't have a pool.

Shreveport can play this game with anybody.
Most of these cities are amateurs…

I gotcha. That sounds about right. I think ours was something like $92 the other day. We do have a separate meter for irrigation but that thing is only like $30 right now.

I was curious so looked at City of Dallas rates. Houston well more than 200% more. Surprised Houstonians haven't rioted yet

Between this and the awful trash service, I’m getting pretty close.

Spent about 4.5k on water last year with a wife and 7 year old daughter. When I run sprinklers 3 times a week I get bills from 575-700. Normal water bill is 300/month. No freaking leaks just a plain old good arse humping by the city.

Let me guess, you're in Fort Bend County? The NFBWA fee always doubled what my water and sewer charge was.

What are you using 400 gallons a day on? That seems excessive.

Mine was $75 in Cinco Ranch. I would look into a separate meter for your sprinklers that way you don't pay sewage.

If I take out the garbage fee($16.35), the most recent bill was $32. We just turned the sprinkler system back on, so that will change. I think the highest our bill got last summer was $225. We live in Katy and the damn WHCWA fee will always be at least what your water fee is, but usually more.

Do you have a pool? If so do you have an automatic water filler? That’s common to have a pool leak and your automatic filler is running all the time

If you’re leaking that much water, you’re going to know it.

Literally printing money with one. No fricking way I'd pay more than 50 bucks a month for water.

ETA: 12,000 gallons just shy of $275

I'm in Montgomery County, but I'd have to use 38,000 gallons to reach a $275 bill in my MUD.

12,000 gallons would make my bill $105.
