You can’t even compare the two sports yet you want to compare two different coaches in two different sports??

JJ had success at his previous programs. Ed O was fired several times before coming to LSU

No.
Johnson had success elsewhere before coming to LSU.
Orgeron was a guy who should have NEVER gotten the LSU job but for one of the laziest ADs in the country. He, wisely, stayed out of the way besides recruiting in his first 3 year and fell arse-backwards into a phenomenal team in 2019.
Once he decided he was going to interject his COY “talent” in to the actual game approach you saw the results.
Johnson inherited a young, loaded, team when he arrived. By his second year those guys were experienced players and he supplemented the roster with a generational pitcher. He may never have a team that good again. But he’s at least earned the benefit of the doubt that he can get close to that again (though probably not this season)

How did this get 32 up votes.
Johnson is actually a great coach. He knows how to win baseball games.
People underestimated all the talent this team lost. Skenes and crews by themselves is a lot to replace
