Gas stations only make money from the c-store. Gasoline sales are irrelevant

I know some Indian guys that own several at my former golf club. They also own tons of other raw real estate and developed land like hotels, etc. They are great people.

Also, I worked at a gas station when I was 13. Old school where we would check oil, wipers and tire pressure. I only did it for a week but it made me enough to buy a BMX style bike.

I don’t think they clear much unless you want to work in it yourself. Getting dependable help to be a cashier in a convenience store is a royal pain in the arse and your own employees will steal all your profits if you are not also working in the place.

The ones I know employ family and friends. Not much stealing from them.

Hey man are you the poster that said you’d suck a dick if it meant Trump not getting reelected? Didn’t you say you had to start taking pills because you had TDS? Am I thinking of the right poster?

Nachos and Cheese are $0.35 per pump and you sell it for $3.00. You triple the price.

That is about $65,000 per year.

Times 2 is $130,000

Times 3 is $195,000

Good money.

Some Food & Fun (that was the franchise name) Chevron stations in the New Iberia area have closed. Turned into a eyesore quickly on Duperier Ave.

I used to own one. You make your money a nickel at a time and your employees steal from you

Except for building the station? I dunno that seems significant but maybe immigrants have more money than I thought

Sometimes they don’t own the physical station. They lease it from the fuel distributor or a 3rd party owner.

The fuel distributor gets the cash from processing the fuel purchases and they also maintain the pumps. On the other hand, lotto tickets, booze, cigarettes, and other snacks inside are profit centers for the individual station.

Is owning and keeping a firearm a prerequisite for owning a gas station? I've seen many videos of shoot outs at gas stations.

One YouTube channel that has plenty of these videos is Active Self Protection.

Unless you own the pumps you’re making less than a nickel off each gallon of gas.

The dot immigrants pool their money and buy up every store they can and turn around and lease those to other new dot Americans they recruit to come over.

My dream out of College was to take the Sheetz/WAWA/Parkers model of a higher end Gas Station/C-Store ...think Whole Foods meets Quick Trip or an AutoGrill for those who have traveled in Italy.

Basically station them every 50-100 miles on major interstates i.e. I-95, I-20, I-70.

There have been so many times when driving through desolate areas of the country on a road trip where I have wanted to get quality , fast food that is healthy and fresh and the options are limited.

Think Avant Garde Buccees for the bourgeois

It would slay and probably bring much needed culture to these backwaters as well
