Hock was 4th in TE rec and 3rd in yards his second season.
Year 3 was on a near identical pace before he got injured.
Year 4 he was 2nd in rec and 2nd in yards.
Year 5 he was 2nd in rec, 4th in yards

At worst he’s a top 5 TE. The team (and QB) who drafts any pass catchers matter a ton.

Hock lit up our defense with Dobbs throwing it to him and that was also while Jefferson was out with an injury.

11 catches 134 yards and 1 TD

Sam LaPorta

9 catches 140 yards and 1 TD

I mean why not go after a position where you could possibly be getting the next best young TE?

Use to your advantage as to what got you beat previously.

Nothing against Juwan Johnson but he's not going to put a games like that consistently. The game he had in Tampa had 9 catches 80 yards and 1 TD. Which is nice but you'd like to see more yardage with that many catches? I don't know.

I'm cool with whatever they do because the Saints have a few needs at different positions. I'd lose my shite if they traded up and dealt away future picks though.
