Exactly. I dipped for 15 years, and ironically quit while I was in the Army. I never felt like it effected my performance at all.
As I said earlier, studies show that it does decrease it, but I think the changes are negligible.

I am not saying it doesn't. I am in pretty good shape for an old dude and I have a couple of cigars a week. Actually when I competed in bodybuilding, I had one every night - several years ago. I think like anything, it's about moderation.
