What Bailey brings seems to be in between Wright and Hannibal, but I leaned more towards replacing what we were missing with Hannibal, because I think LSU won't rely on Bailey to score as much as they relied on Wright to score, but when he does it'll be mainly by driving and taking short shots, like Hannibal. Also, Bailey's assist to turnover ratios is 2-1, like Hannibal's, while Wright's was close to 1-1. Bailey's defense is closer to Wright's, yet I think Hannibal was a pretty good defender as well, but I think Bailey's is better than both of them.

Wright was a better offensive player and rebounder. And while I don't think (initially) he was supposed to be the focal point of the offense (that was Cook, followed by Baker), he morphed into that role.
Bailey is being brought in to be a wing-defender first. Any scoring he gives you is probably a bit of a bonus. Wright had the most FG attempts on the team last year. I'd be surprised if Bailey even comes close to that.
