His DPBR is 1.64 higher than anyone on the team last year outside of Jordan Wright. He averages 1.5 steals, 2 blocks, and almost 7 rebounds a game. He is agile, and long enough to swallow players up in the corner creating errant passes into turnovers. Elite may have been an exaggeration on my part but I think we could definitely use him, and could see him being able to defend most 2-4 effectively.
I loved Mwani ,and it breaks my heart to say this, but if he couldn't give us good minutes this year, I don't know why we'd expect him to give good minutes next year.

I would put a DPBR of 1.64 in the "Decent" range, given that it puts him outside the Top 350 DPBR. Also, if he were an "Elite" defender, then ON3 wouldn't have him ranked outside the Top 150 Transfers. He has already played four years, so it's not like he is a young player who just needs the right situation to make a big leap forward. I would rather see the FR get minutes over someone like this next season.

That's not accurate per Sports Reference.

Toby had a DBPM of 2.3 but overall he was -0.7

Here are how some of LSU's players did:

DBPM / overall
Mike Williams 2.3 / 2.1
Tre Hannibal 2.2 / 3.4
Mwani Wilkinson 2.2/ 1.4
Derek Fountain 2.0 / 2.0
Daimion Collins 1.9 / 3.2
Hunter Dean 1.8 /3.8
Jordan Wright 1.7 / 4.3

Cam Carter was 2.7 / 3.8
Jordan Sears was -1.5 / +1.2

Advanced metrics aren't everything, but I wasn't impressed with what I've seen from Okani's play either. I prefer that they keep the scholarship open until someone better like Yates comes along, even though he is an unknown, but with probably a much higher ceiling.
