Stay at The Crescent. Eat at Don Artemio’s. Night cap at Eddie V’s or Crescent bar. All easily walkable and reasonably walkable to dickies arena. Also check out Bowie House and their restaurant if that’s more your vibe.

B&B Butchers
Wicked Butcher
Tinies (Mexico City Mexican food..incredibly good)
Heim BBQ on Magnolia St.

Bowie House and the Drover are probably the hottest hotel scenes (even if you don't stay there, $$$, the restaurants and bars are very good).

Check out The Modern art museum there. Great architecture and works there. Easily worth an hour or two of your time.

It’s been a while but we used to love Lonesome Dove.

Don’t let the locals convince you to go to Joe T Garcias. It’s a neat patio scene but food is very basic and meh.

Where is the concert? If in the stockyards, stay there. The Drover is super nice but has gotten very expensive. My go to hotel now is the Springhill Suites if staying in the stockyards. It has an awesome rooftop bar. Heim and Salsa Limon are my go to for food. I really like Paloma Suerte too, then head next door to Second Rodeo for drinks.
West 7th has gotten a bit trashier (by Fort Worth standards). If downtown head to the Thompson’s Bookstore, theres a speak-easy bourbon bar downstairs.

My favorite hotels are The Drover (stockyards) or The Sinclair downtown.

Wicked Butcher is great as others have said. Do not go to Ruth’s as I found it not worthy of the brand name. My daughter loves Gemelle for Italian.

Really easy city to get around in. Go to TCU and you can go into the football stadium.
