Obviously, Pedos should die.

The main reason is to end the trauma. These are people that were typically molested as kids and they continue to abuse kids. Just kill them and put a stop to the cycle.

Should be like a sport, and the league logo can be like the NBA logo, but the outline can be Gary Plauché with the phone in his hand instead.

Agreed

And what I’m about to post is likely not going to be well received. But understand I say this with sadness, as I have witnessed it. (The coping of a victim as an adult.)

There can be indirect victims. These children can be so messed up from what happened to them, that they CAN in turn unknowingly mess up/hurt others in their own lives as adults — their own children and spouses, for example, through unhealthy coping mechanisms.

SOME Children of abuse have ways of coping as adults that aren’t healthy and greatly affect their loved ones. Drugs and alcohol likely come to mind, but there’s also denial of simple unpleasant realities. Picking and choosing what to believe can become dangerous when bad/lying people take advantage of this. Disassociation is another way some cope. It’s similar to denial. OCD to feel in control and other types of psychological coping mechanisms are common.

Many of their psychological issues affect their parenting and marriages. You can see how this can then, sadly, become a generational thing.

I’m not saying this is the case with all victims. But being that it’s the case with many, yes, the perpetrators need to be kept from society on the first offense. More importantly though because almost ALL of the perpetrators repeat offend. I’m a big supporter of leaving them all on an island to fend for themselves. Wouldn’t cost us much. Many would perish. Survival of the fittest.

Once they actually abuse a kid, then life in prison at the very least.

The prison population will take care of the rest, as they don't much care for child abusers.

The real issue with pedos is that they simply cannot be reformed.

Where there is unequivocally zero doubt that said person was guilty and committed aggravated sexual assault or child rape, or facilitated such activities like child sex trafficking, absolutely.

Only hesitation for me is that a needle to the arm for a peaceful drug death hardly feels like a harsh enough penalty. Would almost rather they get branded with some sort of identifying mark, then given a lifetime sentence where they are thrown in with general population of convicted felons.

If they’re guilty of harming a child absolutely.

If some guy is fricked up because he himself is abused as a kid or is attracted to kids but resists the urge to act on it I feel like their life is probably worse than death.

Agreed. The other thread about the guy posting of how he likes the "single digits"? People like that need to be removed from the gene pool with the quickness.

It should be on the table for sure.

I actually view someone who would rape a toddler more harshly than a murderer and on the same level as a serial killer.

Not only am I for it, I think it should be carried out within 72 hours of conviction. And frick a bunch of simply putting them to sleep. Make those sick bastards ride the lightning.

The downvotes are up to nine now, but I think that conclusion is a little harsh. I've had discussions with others here over the years that legitimately believe that the government should never have the power of life and death over citizens. I can agree to the extent that I support just about anything that limits the power and scope of the government, but on the other hand, there are some people who just need executed, and those who harm children are very near the top of my list.

100%. They should be terminated 10 minutes after conviction in a court of law. Preferably in a public setting on the town square.

It should be up to the parent/guardian or next closest kin. If they don't want to proceed with the death penalty, so be it. If they do, then they should have that right.

I am with indisputable proof. However knowing what we now know about the justice system it has to be indisputable.
