Nah. As I recall Fred’s was always good
About stopping fights and kicking out the parties involved. Bouncers never involved themselves in the fights other than removing patrons involved.
Reggie’s bouncers would actually fight you. Which is why it’s closed now

No one has stated the obvious. BR is a S#%%T HOLE - it has been for years! LSU is nothing but stupid frat boys and shallow sorority chicks. I cannot understand why anyone would subject themself to that environment!

I recently watched the Sopranos series. Shows like this glamorize this type of violence. As I was watching I was appalled knowing how some young people who watch this would be affected and so life imitates art. This was a senseless act of brutality and these television shows normalize such behavior.

The purpose of this thread was to highlight a very tragic event that happened at a college bar. My original post was negative and inappropriate. If we are all honest that could have easily be one of us, our brother, cousin, uncle, etc…

For a time, Five Points in Cola, SC was really bad. Same issues as Tigerland and generally the same demographics. My brother who lives in Cola will go to Five Points for lunch but hasn't stepped foot in a bar there at night in almost 10 years.
