Politics is the art of the possible and people actually get things accomplished by organizing. Taking people's eyes out doesn't do anything productive.

MTG doesn't do anything substantial without his blessing.

Some of these dumbasses didn’t take a civics class. I’m as MAGA as
Anyone, but there’s very little that can happen if you only control one half of one branch of government. Liberal Georgia screwed us by tilting the balance of power in the Senate. The Republicans don’t have the numbers to do anything. We need to hold the house and re-take the Senate and Whitehouse in November. Then we roll. Until then, compromise is the only way to keep the country running.

My problem with MTG is that she supported McCarthy

So you're saying she's mad that Johnson wouldn't cheat on his wife to frick her like McCarthy did?

I personally think we need to remove the ability of Congress to elect their own leadership.

Correct and rational. There's no place for that on the Poli board.

That's sort of my intuition. And it doesn't really conflict with Rog's chaos theory for the ultra-MAGA crew either. They still get to look like they're fighting the WEF-loving cuckservatives.

Republicans in Congress want that. That's why they are resigning. It's an Insurgent Class and they are all in it together.

The alternative you're talking about is violence toward other people trying to organize. That just creates cycles of violence, chaos, and misery. Peaceful, organized politics is much better.

Was that more a function of Liberal Georgia or Republicans running Herschel Walker?

Launch the amendment process, I think a lot of people might agree.

Or maybe telling everybody to vote was rigged so there was no use voting.

The speaker of the House should lose his job over this omnibus. Any and every speaker who prevents Congress from functioning as a genuine legislative body needs to be removed until one of them finally gets the message.

I understand - I just didn't see how that was connected to my comment.

Electing the right people

If the elections were fair to begin with…our elections have massive problems that need correcting.

Only this board would root for one of the only good politicians from Louisiana out.

Never fail to tear each other down while the state crumbles
