I think we're overdue for a crash. I'd put most of it into a money market fund for now and wait for the imminent crash and take advantage of a potential 20-30% upside.

This is what logically makes sense, but I'd probably just pay off what's left of my mortgage. Then set aside $50k each for each kid in a HYSA and contribute to a Roth IRA yearly with it. Toss 100k in the market, and then use the rest for treating myself.
Best way for me to personally use it when you're not guaranteed tomorrow.
