That actually was a directive of the Affordable Care Act.

Even if you wanted your health insurance to be reason A, you are no longer eligible to choose the type of coverage that fits you best.
You are a round efficient peg being sledgehammered into a square hole.

This is one of the 1000 complaints with ACA before it was voted upon and why the obvious "if you like your plan, you can keep it" was a direct lie to the American people.
