Some of y'all are what corporations love...

Employees that live to work and not work to live

On vacation. Do not contact. Even if it is just a week off at home. Do not contact.

Man, I have a cush job in the grand scheme of things. I work in the office 3 days a week and can usually head toward the house around 2. When I'm at home after that and on my 2 days from the house, I basically just answer calls here and there. I make very good money for the effort by any measure. However, the operations I'm managing are at a cost of millions of dollars per day. Therefore, if there is an important call, I better be available. It doesn't matter if I'm on vacation. It rarely is an issue, but I was just on vacation last week and I took 2 phone calls for a total of about 45 minutes. I'm not going to jeopardize a great income from a job that lets me enjoy my family time all year for the sake of not wanting to be bothered on my "me time".
