I want to see my boy Juggernaut again. He's not a mastermind type but he’s my favorite.

It's been a while since I read the comics but a lot of people keep referencing Onslaught. I had to look it up and it is the consciousness of Charles and Magneto combined.

I do know that Wolverine having his adamantium torn from him leads to the Apocalypse storyline.

I hope they don’t do that. I don’t want bone claw Wolverine.

This is literally the only thing keeping Marvel and Disney afloat.

This show has blown past any expectations I had for it, IMO it’s at the top of the mountain when it comes to Disney+ original shows.

Question regarding Morph, I thought he could only transform into other mutants? Yet, he turned into The Hulk this episode.

If you look closely, you can see that Jean Grey was using her psychic powers to provide the punch to Morph's Hulk form. That's her aura around him.

That makes sense, I didn’t think about that.

X-Men 97 has been awesome though. I can only hope that they cross over with spiderman in the second season.

Will anyone still be alive by the end of this season?

Watched and caught up over last few days.

Holy shite! This was (and is) fantastic. Disney will have to break the bank to make a live action even remotely close.

To sum up this season’s body count, main characters only, we have Gambit confirmed dead, Jean likely killed, Wolverine with no bones so I imagine he won’t heal quickly from that, and Magneto run through with Wolverine’s claw and future uncertain.

Am I missing anyone?

It’s definitely not your 90’s X-Men cartoon.

Wolverine with no bones

He has bones still, Magneto just separates the adamantium from his skeleton. Just like in the comics. Long story short, Wolverine survives this and turns into a feral state. Apocalypse would later kidnap him and have him serve as one of his Horseman and rebond the adamantium to his skeleton.

Yeah they’re doing a lot of major stories in quick succession. Kinda would’ve liked just a few episodes of the team at full strength fighting the villain of the week.

Never read any comics other than The Walking Dead, and that was just so I wouldn’t see spoilers about the show.

Good info though.

My only complaint is the speed of the storytelling.

Didn't his bone claws constantly break and reform stronger? Theoretically they would eventually have comeback stronger than adamantium? I went looking for that comic and forgot I lost it in Katrina

They keep showing Apocalypse in the intro. Can't remember if that is a scene from the old show or not, but either way, seems like he will be introduced at some point.
