Looks like they abandoned the practical effects for almost purely CGI. Some of that looks pretty bad.
But the movie itself looks okay, outside of some overly ridiculous physical things that she wouldn't be able to do (like lightly swinging something and knocking the dude off his motorcycle). Physics just don't work like that.
I likely won't see this unless I hear nothing but awesome things about it.

If anything causes me to skip this one, it's this. While the performances are good in Fury Road, the effects really made it unique in today's big budget movie experience.

This. It's one of the things that Fury Road got so right. I can suspend disbelief to get sucked into a movie like this, but it's gotta look real. Fury Road nailed that. This just overtly looks too fake.
This is probably going to be a good film, but I'll likely never be able to enjoy it because just from a production perspective Fury Road spoiled me. and I can't help but compare this to that.

They severely overstated the amount of practical effects of Fury Road. Had the same amount as CGI as most blockbusters.
