The Biden administration is expected this week to finalize highly anticipated regulations targeting gas-powered vehicle tailpipe emissions, considered the tip of the spear in its efforts to electrify the transportation sector.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is slated to issue the final rulemaking — which officials have boasted will incentivize greater adoption of electric vehicles (EV), but which opponents have criticized as a de facto mandate — as soon as Wednesday, industry sources told Fox News Digital. The regulations, a key part of President Biden's climate agenda, would ultimately force automakers to more rapidly expand electric options in their fleets beginning in a matter of years.
quote:

Overall, under the proposal, which EPA unveiled in April 2023 and will go into effect in 2027, the White House projected that 67% of new sedan, crossover, SUV and light truck purchases would be electric by 2032. In addition, up to 50% of bus and garbage truck, 35% of short-haul freight tractor and 25% of long-haul freight tractor purchases could also be electric by then.

We are fricked if we don't get these ghouls out of office in November. We don't even have the infrastructure in place to support the mass adoption of electric vehicles and that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the catastrophic issues that this horseshite will cause for the country.

Better yet - make the case that the election was stolen and every single law, EO and political appointment is nullified.

Don’t fool yourself.

They absolutely know this and it’s part of the reason behind the push. Take away our mobility

We're fricked anyway.

Only difference is, Trump will use a little lube and some nice, gentle thrusts and kiss us on the neck. The other guy will go in dry with an axe handle.

At this point it will literally take divine intervention to save us. That's the only possible way I see this nation's trajectory turn away from the cliff.

Overreach by Federal Agencies has gotten ridiculous. What gives the EPA the authority to dictate to private business what types of products they can sell?

If Trump gets back in he should ban the manufacture of EV, chargers and require all gas burning cars\trucks to have 500 hp at a minimum.

He should go after the "green energy sectors" with the same hatred that Biden has done against the oil and gas industry.

Or if he doesnt ban EV's he should require them to get 1000 miles from a charge, recharge off a 120v cord in 1 hour, and that the batteries are covered under a lifetime warranty (replaced at no charge to the consumer). Put as many unreasonable conditions on them as happens to ICE vehicles.

Weaponized all the fed agencies. What was it he was using OSHA to try and push through and the courts intervened and stopped it? I forget, it was something far removed from their mandate, so much so it was laughable.

Dear Colleague letter from dept of ed turned most inner city schools into shatholes.

Any number of agencies, and most of them should be done away with or severely trimmed or combined with others with half the headcount.

That's the only way this shite happens.

They just ruled last year that the EPA overstepped it's authority in regulating, carbon emissions I believe.

The GOPe can stop it now by cutting the EPA's budget in half at Fridays budget extension.

Fat chance though.

It's nice how these unelected bureaucrats can just make up the rules as they go...

Scarborough is right. They aren't stupid. What they are is full of shite. They know they are full of shite too. They just do not care that they are full of shite. These people earn the label "influencer" way more than any jerk off on social media does. They influence people the same way fleas influence dogs.
