It's not Trumps fault Paul is absolutely terrible at debating. He got destroyed and let Trump walk all over him. If he had aspirations of higher office - You can't get eradicated in a debate. The Republican party is deeply deeply deeply invested in the get rich scam the democrats are all in on. That is why they get into politics and later lobbying. The grift that keeps on giving. Not to mention the insider trading that no one gives a fk about. The govt - both sides - wants to be the billionaires and zillion-airs like in China where the only people in the country that are rich are govt officials. That said, theres a few out there that actually do seem like decent humans but they are massively outnumbered by the lifers and the grifters.
