People act like starting out with Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America weren’t risks.

Yeah there was some risk, but everyone has still heard of those comics, and you knew the actors as well.

. Hell how many people actually knew who the Guardians were before the MCU?

No one, but the story and characters were simple. The background story of the Eternals is complicated and it was hard to like any of the characters.

How they made Guardians wasn't a risk. It was fun, and had fun well known actors. Eternals was completely different from that. There were way too many characters, with names no one remembers, and what they were dealing with on Earth just felt so different and not part of the MCU at all.

Slightly bummed about Ant-Man, however, he can still be a nice little comedy piece on an Avengers movie

No Captain Marvel 3 and Eternals 2 is fricking AMAZING tho

True but some well-placed commas would help your sentence out.

Fantastic Four and re-boot the X-Men

Fantastic Four failed twice already. In the trailer it looks like the chick's voice is dubbed in. X-Men third iteration? Not sure anyone wants that.

Cool, but weird how some are carved out.

Why are they struggling so much with this one? It's pretty crazy. Just make a kickass vampire movie. It should be the least of Marvel’s problems.

They weren't that well known at the time.

The scripts they're coming up with all center on Blade's daughter. Blade himself is a secondary character, plus they need to shoehorn some sort of anti white message in there.

Chris Pratt surely was, and as i said, there wasn't anything complicated about the plot or their backstory.
If the movie wasn't an MCU movie it still would have done well b/c it was simply a good movie.

How hard is it to remember Groot's name, or Rocket's.

I bet if you took a poll of everyone who saw the Enternals half of them couldnt' name 1 character's name from the movie. I have no idea who the main character even was.

Shang Chi was great until it devolved into a CGI fest in the second half.

Agreed, Shang Chi is one of my favorites, but the CGI fest at the end was terrible.

Eternals failed at what made the Guardians great. I didn't care about any of the characters except for Kingo's assistant.

Apparently the script has been through several re-writes. At least one iteration was from the lunatic they just fired from the X-Men animated series, if that gives any indication of the struggles.

So, you totally were fine with the lead male character, the movie's namesake, The Master of Kung Fu, getting comically kicked in the balls by his younger sister, then Marvel's Katy picking up a bow & arrow and instantly achieving Master level abilities.

Marvel can rekindle my love if they forget Kang and the multiverse shifting towards a series against DOOM

It's super simple for them to save the ship from sinking, but they've stated time and time again - they don't care what real fans WANT.

They're making movies for Blackrock ESG ratings, not fans of the comics.

Eternals had such potential. They should have made it an epic fantasy LOTR type

Did you watch a 9-hour YouTube video deep dive of the movie so you know which parts to be offended by?

Is it so hard to just dislike these marvel movies for normal reasons?
