i dunno but i can tell you, he isnt taking just any job just because its a bigger school. they dont want to job hop anymore and he doesnt feel like he needs to. He has a little girl in school now and they dont want to do that.
next stop will be a place he feels he can win a NC at. He wont take it otherwise.

Any AD with a brain and wants to be a winner.

Louisville needs him but apparently they have their eyes on Musselman

Louisville should throw the bank at him.

Will TAMU be looking for a coach if they don't make the tournament?
Memphis would be a really good fit for WW

He's gonna strike while the iron is red hot.
You never know what the next year can bring you at a place like McNeese, so the biggest job that is a fit is going to be where he goes. He is not going to spend another year at McNeese.

I agree. He won't take a power-conf. job just to take it. He'll state at McNeese if the right job doesn't come along this round.
He still has a year left on his show cause penalty, which means if he takes a new job this year he will have to miss the first 10 games of next season again. If an AD can stomach the initial barrage of bad press from the pearl-clutching, virtue-signaling media, they will get a good HC that may be tailor-made for this new NIL/transfer era (Wade's fully embraced it rather than trying to fight it like older coaches).
I think Louisville and Ohio St are the two biggest jobs out right now and will aim higher than Wade (at least initially). That could create a domino effect if they can poach someone from a big program.
That aside, I think the school to watch is Oklahoma St. They haven't fired their HC, but OSU just had a bad season and Boyton hasn't done anything in 7 seasons there. In fact, he's only had one winning conference season. It's a program in a good basketball conference, with good tradition and solid resources. I think Wade would probably prefer to be somewhere closer to the east coast. But OSU has a lot of potential...if they want to hire someone like Wade given they had NCAA issues with the whole FBI waste of time.

They are a projected 5-6 seed. They aren't falling all the way to a play-in game because of one meaningless loss in the conf. tournament.

If open, I think he would ABSOLUTELY consider going to Arkansas. It would be good hire...even though I would throw up in my mouth watching him beat LSU 1-2x per year

Louisville has nothing to lose they may as well throw the bank at him

I agree with Vanderbilt. I don't see them keeping Stackhouse, Wade is from Nashville, and has always been extremely complimentary of the basketball in that area. Whether or not Vanderbilt is willing to go after Wade is another question

I think it will be another southern (ACC/SEC) school where his hire will fly under the radar a bit. I could see FSU with Leonard Hamilton likely close to retirement. Clemson as well. I am not sure GT or Vandy would go for him but those would be good spots. How long will Mike White get at UGA? At A&M I think Buzz gets one more year but could see it after next year

Will Wade is something like 16-0 all time against schools in the Texas A&M system. Aggies should go all in after next season to get Will Wade.
