Reddit link that sums up what people know and has tried to consolidate the various videos/sightings for people to keep up with details and possibly help with the search.
This reddit thread links 4 urls of stories about gangs/groups preying on Nashville tourists by drugging and robbing them (but not killing, so doubt it's the case with Riley). That was new to me, but it seems it's been a recent problem.

In the past 30 years there has been dozens of young adults getting drunk in a downtown area and end up drowning in a nearby body of water. You can even see the river in a couple of those surveillance videos.
