Dammit. Let me have my homer moment. I hate that ghetto arse team and nothing would make me happier than to have them eliminated before getting to LSU AGAIN this year.

Now they get refs who are not SEC refs and they don't get away with all the hacking anymore. Officiating will still be bad but it will probably be more evenly bad

35 bench points vs 8 bench points. Turnovers and points off turnovers were the difference, along with the depth difference.

Refs unfortunately were a massive part of the game...both games this year.

Maybe not, but she has shown before that she doesn’t tolerate foolishness from her players.

Today doesn't matter at all...LSU is 6 games from another Natty. I like their chances with unbiased officiating and getting Poa back.

I am impressed LSU kept it close given their losses and having to monitor certain key players.

no, they won't.... it took a miracle 1000 in 1 shot to get them to today, then it took a frick ton of help from the refs to get them the win today... not saying LSU will win it all, i'm just saying SC won't win it

Dale brown should have walked his team off the court after the Carlos Groves incident in 1992

Sure hope so. And congratulations to the lady Tigers for a hard fought game with so many bodies missing. I know it's a loss but you gave it all. Best of luck in the tournament.

She has missed the last few games but she's not the problem, albeit a better performance would definitely help.

HVL, I've said it all season, is a LIABILITY on defense and LSU can't hide her. Teams are attacking her on both ends of the floor. Her teammates have to help so much that it creates tons of open looks and puts the entire defense out of position. On the offensive end, she can't consistently get around her defender, resulting in long bounce passes to get the ball inside. It allows the defense to recover, as well as creates opportunities for the defenders to jump the passing lane.

LSU also hasn't learned how to "win" tight games. They play 1 on 1 too often, resulting in poor shot selection. Reese should've never attempted that 3-pointer unless the clock was winding down. That was a wasted possession and LSU has too many coming down the stretch of ball games. It's tournament time and this team still struggles with any kind of pressing defense and still haven't learned to inbound the ball. They have SOOOO many turnovers off simply inbounding the ball.

She watched Cardosa lay out Flau'jae and then just stood and watched instead of running and grabbing her after the hit.

Is this team better with Poa starting at the point and HVL starting at the two,
Bring Williams off the bench , offensively Williams has been non existent the second half of the season.
