When someone says papaw, Mimi, mamaw, mom or dad when I don’t know them. People should say “my” mom, or “my” grandpa, etc. Also when someone uses names multiple times and I have no idea who they are talking about.
Example: Darren did this or Darren did that. If I don’t know who Darren is, say your friend Darren or your brother Darren (etc)

When im watching something on tv and it goes to commercial and the volume increases to where it’s almost twice as loud as the show you were watching…. I think most people are only mildly annoyed by it but it drives me crazy .

If I can hear you eat/chew, I will politely leave the table. That sound makes me want to commit murder.

People who post photos on Facebook without identifying the people in them. I don’t mean if you’re posting old pics of dead great aunt Henrietta, but why post pics of your fun get together with old friends and not identify them? I’ve never heard anyone else complain about it, so I just whine to myself.

People that have crosses or other religious symbols or sayings in their business logo or marketing material. It’s almost a 100% guaranty they will screw you over and just gives religion in general a bad reputation.

At work when I’m having an important with one person and another person comes and butts into something that isn’t their business. I will either stare at the other person until they get the hint, or if they’re stupid, I’ll just walk away and continue the conversation later. I fricking hate being interrupted.

When eating out, I always try and sit facing the entrance. No idea when or why it started but it irks me having my back turned like that.

In a public place….like a doctor’s waiting room….and someone is playing a game on their phone with the sound turned on.

At a movie theater….and someone near me is texting on the phone and the “dings” from the response.

I guess it’s generally phone non-etiquette.

People who enter a thread that doesn’t pertain to them just to tell everyone that the topic doesn’t pertain to them.

Harley riders blasting AC/DC. They think they’re so cool. But, how many times can you listen to the same songs?

When my kids wait patiently at the park for a swing or something and the other parents are completely oblivious and on their phone.

People who hover, waiting to talk to me or the other person I’m conversing with. If it’s an “emergency”, then by all means interrupt; otherwise, frick off and find me later.

A common annoyance (because I want to vent about having to continually address it): I have an “open door policy until it’s not”. This means that when my office door is open, there’s no need to knock (or say “knock knock”- cringe). If my door is closed, DO NOT open it and stick your head in and ask, “got a minute? You busy?” Also, I can see you through the blinds, don’t hover outside my door.

Chewing, smacking , slurping, teeth flossing around me then spitting bits in floor, watching tik tok with volume up like everyone else enjoys the racket. I could probably go on.

I think this is called Misophonia. 21 and Me says I got the DNA for it.
