Towards the beginning or in the neighborhood areas it’s fine.

Once the parade hits the Perkins road bridge that crosses the railroad tracks and heads toward the overpass area (Ivars, Duvics, etc.), then no.

That being said, people still bring their kids to the overpass area.

Who is this St. Patricia of whom speak? Google only shows one St. Patricia whose feast day is In August.

Patty is a girl’s name. Paddy is short for Patrick.

While we are at it, could someone please ask the Baton Rouge parade to replace its four leaf clover for the three leaf shamrock.

And fewer people to compete with catching things at the beginning. At the overpass, good luck with that.

It's going to be a very busy Saturday in Baton Rouge. Not sure if I'm going to the Wearin of the Green parade because the weather is supposed to be crappy.

I don't remember much from being two years old. I'm told I liked female breasts, however.

Not counting good LSU football games, it's the best day of the year in Baton Rouge. Really is fun for everyone.
