Yeah I’ve had my eye on this for 2+ years now when it just randomly unveiled at some Sony event titled project eve then 2-3 delays, which imo is often a good sign if devs are consumer focused and these 100% are so the game can be it’s best, then 18 months without news until pics of Eve hit Twitter and the news they fired 2 feminist for trying to make here ugly it legit looks amazing though. You eventually get the option to use firearms and activate 3rd person shooter mode. 15 min gameplay on YouTube demo it’s insanely impressive the kills and outfits.

It looks like it takes its theology very serious with all the names of bosses shown having something to do with fallen beings from heaven during creation accurately named.

someone might have messed up and released a demo early. I downloaded it before it was taken off the store

Looks great visually (performance, balanced, graphics)

The combat is sick. You get 2 boss fights and some trash in between so you get a decent feel for what the game is. Immediately saw the Sekiro influence with the parry mechanics. Like how the beta attacks work too. Should make for some fun combos once you get a bit more skilled at it. Brutal kills too. Like Sekiro, once you build up enough stagger from parrying you can use a tank buster like attack. Great animations on those

Unfortunately you don’t get the gun attachment to start so couldn’t play with that part. I can tell it will be fun and useful.

Soundtrack is an absolute heater. Mixing is good too which is big because vocals are heavy and a lot of studios mess that up. Never felt like the background music was overpowering everything else like dialogue or sound effects.

Looks like a really well done game. I’m completely sold.
