I absolutely see the value in a life coach.
If you want to be the top 1% of 1% in your field, the life coach will direct you through the steps to get there.
But if you don't want to put in the work... the most expensive life coach won't perform miracles.

Out of those 10-15 pages, are there product placement "embellishments" like oils, incense, New Age CDs, "devices", etc?

I’m not knocking the guy for being a life coach, nor am I knocking people who hire him. I’m just astonished at how much money a life coach makes and how people throw that kind money on a life coach. That’s a house payment a month!

Most “life coaches” don’t make anywhere near that kind of money. The ones who do are master-marketers that know how to sell to customers. It’s a salesman type job.
