He won a Chip, and coached for 2...how does THAT compare to every OTHER LSU coach?
You sound like if he recruited worse, but averaged 8 wins a year.. you would be happier? The dude kept us on the map when we could have fallen off Hard. Maybe not CURLY hard.. No body picking up tickets off the ground looking for a better seat... but still .. LSU remained relevant on a national stage... get off his arse.
