FX would make a mint if they did a second series with the freedom to deviate from the book. Everyone loves Shogun.
I'd also accept a spinoff simply focusing on the Anjin's life wandering around Japan as framing for a period piece that explores that period of their history and specifically Edo's buildup into Tokyo.
