The answer is probably no, because the last 3 years he was tanked by Sean Payton and Pete Carmichael.

But he’s not THAT far off. He was on track with Marshall Faulk through their first 5 seasons. Through their first 7 seasons:

Compared to Ladanian Tomlinson:

Again, probably not, but we’ll see. Hopefully he has a late career boost. He’s got plenty of tread on the tire.

He had a shot, but no. He needed a few more years on a Brees offense to keep piling up yards from scrimmage.

Like cam Jordan, he was also a big loser in the no call game. A big Super Bowl puts cam Jordan in the HOF and really could have solidified Kamara as a playmaker of his generation.

Same draft class. AK was outpacing CMC with Payton and Brees, but CMC took over. Better numbers with 10 less games

Agree , Super Bowl appearances is a big deal to HOF voters. Unfortunately the last couple of years of the Carmichael offense has hurt his career.

He would need to at least put up 1500 + rushing yards the next 4 years and score 20 + points each year to maybe be considered. Also winning an Offensive player of the year award would help.

Remember these are the same voters that took forever voting a running back like Curtis Martin into the HOF. So not liking his chances.

He is a Saints HOF to me

#122 in rushing attempts
#111 in career rushing yards
#68 in rushing touchdowns
#171 in receptions

Not in top 250 in receiving touchdowns
#117 in yards from scrimmage
#141 in all-purpose yards
#76 in total touchdowns

No.

If he stays healthy and productive for another 5 years then maybe but he is getting to the age where running backs start falling off.

Consider guys like

Tiki Barber
Warrick Dunn
Steven Jackson
Lesean McCoy
Ricky Waters
Matt Forte
Fred Taylor

All have a better case than AK presently and likely will never get in

AK will settle into the Corey Dillon, Ricky Williams, Eddie George, Beast mode, Clinton Portis tier of hall of very good RBs

NFL HOF? lol? No, he would need 5 more years of very high production.

The amount of RBs you are going to see get into the Hall going forward you will be able to count on your fingers.

Its just not going to happen anymore. WRs get all that production now

AK isn't even close to any of these dudes.

Ricky Williams has led the league in rushing.

Has had 3 seasons with total yards better than AK's best.

5 years of rushing for 1000 + vs AK's none.

Dillon has played 49 more games than AK, George and Marshawn 48 more games, Ricky 46 more games. That’s basically 3 more seasons of ball. Portis has played 13 more games

Assuming he doesn’t retire early, Kamara will surpass all of them in yards from scrimmage in significantly less games played.

He already has more TDs than Rickey and Eddie George. Will pass Portis this coming year (needs 2) and possibly Dillon as well (11).

Well yea Williams was ripping off 400 touch seasons. Kamara has never topped 300

He has 953 more career touches than AK but only 2,567 more yards

i just see a lot of kamara's receiving yards as useless bullshite. he's had 2 or so fairly VERY GOOD seasons but other than that, its been a lot of mediocre crap.

Given the team’s overall success on the back of a top 5 offense, seems pretty foolish to dismiss his receiving. He was never less than your 3rd leading receiver. Lee the team one year and was 2nd a few times. You’re wrong on this one
